Bewildering Stories- Speaking Globally-a poem and cultural hegemony

Interesting issue this week. Considerable debate ensued over issues pertaining to cultural hegemony and the power of the rant.

I also contribute a still life poem about Fishermen-rhyming breeze with sardines-, who, as a colleague pointed out, always look more romantic from a distance.

My second week on the review panel of Bewildering Stories magazine. A long running and incredibly well organised on line magazine based in the Canadian sub section of cyba space  Lots of lively debate and engaging chat pertaining to magazine submissions. A very interesting group of people and an intriguing voting system, new content each week for BwS-it is best to start with The Mariner Awards and Quarterly reviews.

Have work in Floodwall magazine this week. A magazine from North Dakota University, launched to coincide with the start of a major creative writing festival at the university. I am looking forward to my hard copy.
