A very busy week. Spent quite a lot of time revising the second half of our collaborative novel, ‘Beer Balls and the Belgian Mafia’ Engaged with my usual review panel role on Bewildering Stories magazine and looked at poems as Poetry Editor.
I received my contributors copy of the outstanding ‘The Dawntreader’ magazine and was pleased to see my recent poem,’Two Moons’ on the opening page. I also received two innovative press releases from the Garbanzo magazine team and news of my hand-crafted contributors copy-which retails at twenty dollars. The rest of my week was spent negotiating a social media course for citizens of 60 plus and spending a days teaching in Sheffield’s toughest school-whilst finishing a selection of promising new poems. I hope that the additional time I have been able to spend crafting my work since leaving full time employment, will be reflected in the quality of my latest work.
